In addition to holding fundraising events for scholarships, the Board honors exemplary graduates through their biennial Distinguished Alumni Gallery Dinner. They also host a Silent Auction, Alumni Night at the Blue Rocks and the "GBC Drives for Education" Golf Outing each year.

Distinguished Alumni Gallery
The Distinguished Alumni Gallery recognizes Goldey-Beacom College alumni for their extraordinary life accomplishments. Alumni may be nominated through the month of December, at which time the alumni are considered and selected. An awards banquet is held every other (odd-numbered) year to recognize the new inductees. This is a biennial event with former Distinguished Alumni Gallery honorees, alumni, friends and College staff attending.
GBC alumni and friends gathered to honor three of their own at the Distinguished Alumni Gallery Induction Dinner held on November 17, 2017 at Deerfield Golf Club. New DAG inductees Dennis L. Michel ’86 and Joan V. Panik ’93, as well as Rising Star John T. Carroll ’07 were recognized for their commitment to their communities and their achievements in their professional lives.
DAG Committee Statement for 2021:
This year's Distinguished Alumni Gallery Dinner will be postponed until 2022 due to remaining Delaware indoor gathering restrictions, as well as to conserve the budget of the GBC Alumni Association.
The primary goal of the DAG Committee is to utilize this time by modifying the criteria for Distinguished Alumni Gallery and Rising Star awards. We want to be inclusive of all graduates and select from a pool of candidates who more accurately reflect the rich diversity of our GBC Community. We are also looking into the possibility of highlighting alumni with various (newly added) award categories and expanding our marketing outreach. Finally, we would like to use the remainder of 2021 to begin significant fundraising efforts for a brand-new ‘digital’ gallery wall to be installed in the Event Center, where our next Distinguished Alumni Gallery Dinner will be held.
Please make plans to join us to celebrate our Distinguished Alumni in 2022! We will continue to post updates to this page as information becomes available.
