Beginning in the fall semester of 2021, the Master of Science in Finance and the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology will be offered in a completely online format for graduate students interested in enrolling without attending classes on campus.
"Live Online" means classes will occur in real time, using Zoom TV, so online students share in-class lectures and discussions with faculty and classmates attending in person. Students have the option of attending class on campus in the classroom, or attending remotely for the entirety of the semester, so students living at a distance can complete the programs without the commute. Many online graduate programs are "asynchronous," meaning lectures are pre-recorded and students work and study in isolation. Our "Live Online" classes are "synchronous," meaning they occur on fixed days and times and allow students to engage with faculty and connect with fellow classmates for an enriched, real time experience as if they were in the classroom themselves.
The application process is the same as for our other graduate programs. Learn more about applying by visiting https://www.gbc.edu/admissions/apply/graduate-admissions.html.
